The curated guide to the best VR, AR, XR, immersive & spatial media

XRGuide is where curious audiences find extraordinary worlds, and where creators share their newest works with a global community ready to explore them.

    Built for discovery

Immersive media has a discovery problem. Thousands of extraordinary experiences exist across VR, AR, WebXR, theatrical installations, educational simulations, and spatial applications. Most of them are invisible to the audiences who would love them most.

XRGuide was built to solve that. We are the only guide to all types of immersive media across every device and platform, solving for curation, discovery, searchability, and distribution for both audiences and creators worldwide.

We do not rank by algorithm. We curate by human judgment, against published editorial standards, with no pay-to-play. Every listing reflects a decision. Every decision can be explained.

    Our Mission

XRGuide exists to help people discover amazing immersive experiences across virtual, augmented, and mixed reality platforms. We believe in curating content that is not only technically impressive but also ethically sound and appropriate for all audiences.

XRGuide is a Realitycraft product, designed and built after a decade of R&D in XR discovery, distribution, and delivery of immersive experiences.

    XR Guild Principles

    View Full Principles

We encourage all creators to align with the XR Guild's ethical framework for immersive technology development:

    Prioritize Human Well-being

XR experiences should support mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Avoid designs that exploit vulnerabilities or create preventable harm.

    Protect User Privacy

Collect only what is necessary, explain how data is used, and give people meaningful control over their information in immersive spaces.

    Foster Inclusive Communities

Design for broad access, welcome diverse participants, and actively reduce harassment and exclusion in shared virtual spaces.

    Ensure Transparency

Make interactions, capture, and blended-reality effects understandable. Avoid deceptive flows or misleading interfaces.

    Practice Responsible Innovation

Consider downstream impact before shipping. Avoid experiences that normalize manipulation, abuse, or unsafe behavior.

    Respect Cultural Contexts

Design for global audiences with care. Avoid appropriation, stereotyping, and flattening local meaning.

    Ethical by design

    Editorial independence

Listing in XRGuide is always free. We do not accept payment for editorial placement. Sponsored experiences are clearly labeled with ✦ Sponsored before any click, not after.

    Platform agnosticism

Quest, Vision Pro, WebXR, PCVR, iOS, Android, desktop, fulldome — we cover every platform with equal weight. No hardware allegiance. No platform favoritism.

    Creator respect

Creators are colleagues in the craft. Our submission criteria are public before anyone submits. We explain editorial decisions. We do not extract audience data from creators to sell back to them.

    Who built this

XRGuide was founded by Evo Heyning, a creator, producer, and advocate working at the intersection of immersive media and ethical technology practice. Evo has been producing immersive experiences and community infrastructure for the XR field since its earliest public moments.

XRGuide is the guide Evo always wanted when exploring the field, and the one every curious person deserves before they step into their first extraordinary world.

Evo is also the author of the Promptcraft and Realitycraft guidebooks. Creators who want a free copy of the new XRGuide Worldbuilding Starter Pack can join the XRGuide Discord and DM Evo directly for the link.

Support XRGuide on Buy Me a Coffee. A $19 boost unlocks the XRGuide Worldbuilding Starter Pack download. For a limited time, gifts of $99+ toward building and releasing XRGuide on new platforms and app stores open up time for an onboarding, strategy, production, or partnership call with Evo and the XRGuide team — a 1-hour consulting call is normally valued at $225, and production support packages for worldbuilders can be negotiated on request (evo.ist/services).
