    These Terms of Service govern your use of XRGuide — the app, the website at xrguide.app, and the Creator Portal. By using XRGuide, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

    Who we are

    XRGuide is a curated directory of immersive VR, AR, and XR experiences, published by Realitycraft. Our editorial curation follows the ethical standards of the XR Guild (xrguild.org). We are an independent publication — not a marketplace, not a platform operator, and not affiliated with any individual hardware or software company.

    Using XRGuide

    You may

    • Browse, search, and discover worlds and experiences in the catalog
    • Save worlds to your personal list
    • Share links to worlds and events
    • Submit your immersive experience, event, or press coverage for review via the Creator Portal
    • Use the XRGuide embeddable search widget on your own site, per our widget terms

    You may not

    • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from XRGuide or its API beyond personal use
    • Use XRGuide to distribute spam, phishing links, or malicious content
    • Misrepresent a world, creator, or experience in a submission
    • Attempt to manipulate editorial rankings or curation through coordinated submissions or reports
    • Reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or API infrastructure

    Age requirement

    XRGuide is rated 13+ on the App Store and Google Play. By using XRGuide, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or that a parent or guardian has consented to your use if you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

    The catalog and editorial independence

    XRGuide is an editorial publication. Inclusion in the catalog is at our discretion and is based on criteria including quality, accessibility, and adherence to comfort and safety standards. Submission of a world or experience does not guarantee inclusion. We review every submission and may decline, defer, or request changes.

    Sponsored content, when present, is clearly labeled with a ✦ Sponsored mark and does not influence our editorial selections. Paid placement does not grant any right to editorial inclusion or preferential ranking.

    Third-party experiences

    XRGuide links to and describes experiences created by third parties. We are not responsible for the content of those experiences, for any harm that may result from participating in them, or for the accuracy of platform availability and pricing. Always review the comfort, content, and age ratings on individual world pages before entering an experience.

    A note on safety

    Every world in the XRGuide catalog is reviewed against XR Guild standards for comfort and accessibility. Comfort ratings (Comfortable / Moderate / Intense) and photosensitivity warnings are shown on every listing. These labels are informational — please use your own judgment about what's right for you.

    Creator Portal submissions

    When you submit a world, event, or press coverage through the Creator Portal, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that the information provided is accurate. You grant XRGuide a non-exclusive license to display, describe, and link to your submission as part of the catalog. You may request removal at any time by contacting XRGuide.

    Intellectual property

    The XRGuide name, logo, editorial content, and curation are the intellectual property of Realitycraft. The experiences, images, and descriptions of individual worlds belong to their respective creators. If you believe content on XRGuide infringes your rights, please contact xrguide.app with the details.

    Disclaimers and limitation of liability

    XRGuide is provided "as is." We make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of XRGuide or any experience you find through it.

    Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

    Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.
