Quick answers
Most questions about the app are answered below. If you need to reach us directly, please use our submission form — we respond within 3–5 business days.
Using the app
How do I find a specific world?
Open the Discover tab and use the search bar at the top. You can search by world name, creator, or platform. Use the platform chips (Quest 3, Vision Pro, WebXR, etc.) to filter by where you'll experience it. Type filters let you browse by category — art, music, education, and more.
How do I save worlds for later?
Tap any world card to open its detail page, then tap Save. Your saved worlds appear in your Profile. Saved lists are stored on your device and synced to your account if you've signed in.
What do the comfort ratings mean?
Every world in XRGuide is rated for comfort level: Comfortable (still or gently moving, low risk of motion discomfort), Moderate (some movement, suits most people), or Intense (fast movement or locomotion, may cause discomfort). These ratings follow XR Guild standards. We also flag photosensitivity risk where relevant. When in doubt, start with Comfortable-rated experiences.
How do I turn off personalized recommendations?
Go to Profile → Settings → Ad preferences and toggle off "Personalized recommendations." You'll still see all worlds and events — just without personalization. This can be changed any time.
The app isn't loading worlds — what do I do?
Check your internet connection first. If you're offline, the app shows the last worlds it loaded for you. If you have a connection and still see nothing, force-quit and reopen the app. If the issue persists, please send us a bug report (details below).
Submitting your work
How do I add my world to XRGuide?
Visit xrguide.app/creators and use the Creator Portal to submit your world, event, or press coverage. We review every submission against XR Guild standards for comfort, accessibility, and craft. Expect a response within 5–7 business days. Submission is free.
What kinds of experiences do you include?
XRGuide covers VR, AR, MR, WebXR, spatial media, fulldome, location-based entertainment, immersive theatre, and more — across all platforms. We look for experiences that have something genuine to offer: artistic intent, craft, accessibility, or novelty. We don't include experiences that pose safety risks, exploit users, or conflict with ethical standards.
Can I update or remove my listing?
Yes. Send a message via the submission form with your world name and the change you'd like. We process update requests within 5 business days.
Reporting a problem
Report a bug or crash
Send a bug report via the submission form with the subject line "Bug report." Please include your device model, OS version, and a brief description of what happened. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful. If the app crashed, include the crash time so we can match it to our logs.
Report inaccurate information
If a world's description, platform availability, pricing, or comfort rating is incorrect, message us with the world name and what needs to be corrected. Creators can also request corrections directly via the Creator Portal.
Report a sponsored placement
Any sponsored content in XRGuide can be reported using the ⋯ menu on the placement. Tap "Report this" and choose a reason. You can also message us on Discord or via the submission form. We take every report seriously and will review within 2 business days.
Report a safety concern
If you experienced something in an XR world that raised a safety concern, please let us know. We take comfort, consent, and accessibility seriously and will review any world reported for safety issues. Use the submission form with the world name and details.
