What we look for
Three criteria guide every editorial decision — published openly so you know what we'll be reading for.
Craft
Experiences that demonstrate intentional design — spatial storytelling, environmental artistry, or interaction models that couldn't exist outside XR.
Accessibility
Comfort ratings, photosensitivity disclosures, and adaptive options (captions, audio-only, seated play) help every visitor make an informed choice.
Ethics
We reference the XR Guild's ethical principles as our north star: transparent data practices, no deceptive mechanics, no non-consensual surveillance or manipulation.
We review every submission. Meeting these criteria doesn't guarantee inclusion — the Guide is curated, not exhaustive. We'll be in touch within 5–7 business days.
How to participate & get found
A quick checklist for new creators. Strong submissions get picked up faster by editors, the public catalog API, the dynamic sitemap, and AI search engines.
Lead with a real screenshot
Use an authentic in-experience capture (1200×630 or larger). Real screenshots beat stock photos and gradients in the editorial sort and on social shares.
Tag platforms & categories accurately
List every platform your work runs on (WebXR, Quest, Vision Pro, Resonite, VRChat, fulldome, etc.) and pick precise categories — that's how explorers and AI engines find you.
Mark events & new releases
If a launch, premiere, or live event is coming up, toggle it as an event and add the date. Time-sensitive entries surface in the calendar and the Trending section.
Use a stable, public URL
WebXR experiences must be reachable without a download. App-store links should point to the canonical store page so URL verification stays green.
Claim your artist profile
Verified creators get a /artists/:name page, the Verified badge, an editing suite, and the ability to self-publish additional worlds and events.
Add accessibility & ethics notes
Comfort, photosensitivity, captions, seated play, and data practices are part of every editorial decision and visibly displayed to visitors.
Launching something big? Boost a release or event.
Studios, distribution platforms, and creative teams with a new release, premiere, or live event coming up can amplify reach with a clearly-labeled Sponsored placement. Editorial submissions remain free — sponsorship is separate.
