ENCODED is an augmented reality experience where 17 Indigenous artists from across North America overlay their own works onto The Met's American Wing, reclaiming and reframing American art history. Featuring artist Cannupa Hanska Luger, whose interventions tell the story of 'the living things that existed on the landscape before America was America.' One of the clearest examples of how XR can help reframe stories and spaces. Also featured in a live VRChat program hosted by Agog.
